The embarrassment is enough to send Em running for a life makeover. The only problem is, she\u2019s spent the last decade looking after everyone else in her little town and now she\u2019s totally forgotten how to self-care.<\/p>\n

Adding to that garbage heap of a situation is tonight\u2019s blind date.<\/p>\n

Of course it turns out to be the man who mistook her for homeless. And, of course, he\u2019s a Navy test pilot stationed a stone\u2019s throw away from her antiques shop. All the whiskey and chocolate in the caf\u00e9 can\u2019t help the awkwardness between Em and this cold and stoic modern-Mr. Darcy.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, their tiny, tight-knit community won\u2019t let one (or two) bad nights come between what everyone knows might just be an uncannily perfect couple.<\/p>\n

When they both let down their guard, Em and John\u2019s chemistry creates more sparks than a jet\u2019s afterburners, but there\u2019s a lot to lose if she tries\u2014and fails\u2014at this relationship.<\/p>\n

Unless she decides to trust John to help her navigate, Em might be stuck circling the runway in a loveless holding pattern.<\/p>\n
