The Basics
BIBA® Literary Award:
- Submissions open January 1st.
- Deadline is August 1st.
- Winners are announced by November 30th.
- Books must be available to the public. (Published)
- We accept any publication date.
- We accept books by authors living in any country, but they must be written in English.
- Acceptable file formats for literary award entry: Mobi, Doc, Docx, ePub, or PDF.
- We do not judge book covers in the literary award contest, only the writing. (The Cover Design Award is a separate contest.)
Cover Design Award:
- Submissions open January 1st.
- Deadline is August 1st.
- Winners are announced by November 30th.
- Accepted file formats for Cover Design Award entry: JPG, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, BMP, PDF.
- Authors, Cover Designers, or Designers’ Representative may enter.
Illustration Award:
- Submissions open January 1st.
- Deadline is August 1st.
- Winners are announced by November 30th.
- File formats for Illustration Award entry: jpg, jpeg, png, tiff, epub, mobi, doc, docx, pdf.
- Authors, Illustrators, or an Illustrator’s Representative may enter.
