Scammers Posing As ALLi and BIBA

It has come to our attention that the Alliance of Independent Authors (ALLi) and The Best Indie Book Awards (BIBA) have recently been exploited in an email scam. Please be aware that these emails are not from Alli or the Best Indie Book Award. They are part of a scam. These suspicious emails solicit sensitive information, such as government-issued IDs and personal details, under the pretext of contest submissions.  BIBA never requires government issued ID of any kind.  If you are contacted by anyone claiming to offer a deep BIBA entry discount, do not click on any links.  If you are an author who wants to enter the BIBA contest, only use our official website; do not do so via any suspicious email.  Our early entry fee begins in December and ends in late February, and can be verified on the official Best Indie Book Award website.  All of our direct email advertising can be verified on the Best Indie Book Award official website.
